Titan 2 Elite and Titan 2 tips
and setup guide.
The Titan 2 Elite and the Titan 2 do a lot more than they show out of the box. Here's what to set up first on each, with the Settings paths, and where the two phones differ.
Quick wins
Four things worth setting up on day one. Settings paths come from Unihertz's guides; if a name is slightly different on yours, search Settings for it.
Get to know the keyboard
Titan 2 Elite: a classic four row keyboard, backlit with adjustable brightness. Back and Home sit left of the space bar and the app switcher to the right, with Sym, Fn, Alt and two Shift keys.
Titan 2: the system keys live in a row along the top instead: Shift, Sym, Back, Recent, Fn and Alt. You can swap Shift and Alt, or Back and Recent, in Intelligent assistance. Fn goes Home with a short press and opens Google Assistant with a long one, and holding Sym starts voice typing.
Use the keys as a touchpad
On both phones the keys are touch sensitive, so the keyboard doubles as a trackpad. Turn on Scroll Assistant and a swipe across the keys scrolls the page. Cursor Assistant lets you double tap the keyboard and slide your thumb to move the text cursor, and a long swipe across the keys turns the backlight back on.
The same menu has Fingers gesture: two fingers change the volume, three open split screen or mini mode.

Set up letter shortcuts
Each letter from A to Z can do one thing on a short press and another on a long press: open an app, call or text someone, or run a built in action. The space key can be set to go Home or answer calls.
If your launcher types on the Home Screen, like Glass OS, switch these off so the two don't fight over the same keys. Glass OS setup takes you straight to the right screen on both phones.

Program the red key
Titan 2 Elite: one red key on the side. Titan 2: two, called Func1 and Func2.
Each can do something different on a short press, a long press and a double press, such as a screenshot, the torch or opening an app. You can also give a key a single job, like push to talk, media controls or an extra Alt.
Find the fingerprint sensor
On both phones the fingerprint sensor is built into the power button on the right. On the Elite the button sits flush with the frame, so it's harder to find by feel at first.

Battery and updates
Titan 2 Elite: a 4,050mAh silicon carbon battery with 33W charging. It ships with Android 16 and Unihertz promises upgrades up to Android 20.
Titan 2: a 5,050mAh battery with 33W charging. Its Android 16 update added optimised charging, which slows down at 80% (Unihertz), and support now runs to Android 19 with security updates through 2030 (announcement).
On either phone, back up before installing an update.
Titan 2 only: the rear screen
The bigger Titan 2 has a 2 inch screen on the back. It can show watch faces, including your own photos, notifications from the apps you choose, and a selfie preview for the main camera. Double tap to wake it, and keep the brightness low and the timeout short to save battery.

Titan 2 Elite or Titan 2: what's different
↗ Size
The Elite is the smaller, lighter phone, with a 4 inch screen against the Titan 2's 4.5 inch square one.
↗ Keyboard
Four classic rows on the Elite, with the system keys beside the space bar. The Titan 2 puts them in a row along the top.
↗ Red keys
One on the Elite, two on the Titan 2.
↗ Rear screen
Only the Titan 2 has one.
Fix the two things the stock launcher can't
The stock launcher won't let you type straight into search, and its icons can't be resized. Glass OS is made on a Titan 2 Elite: type to open apps, add to-dos and notes from the Home Screen, and swipe right for every message in one Hub. The video is from an Elite.
