Best launchers for the Titan 2
and Titan 2 Elite, 2026/2027.
The Titan 2's own launcher is fine, but it doesn't do much with the keyboard. Here's what's worth trying instead, what each one is good at, and which ones let you just start typing.
Quick picks
What makes a good launcher on a keyboard phone
Type to search
On a phone with real keys you should be able to start typing on the Home Screen and get your apps, without tapping a search box first.
Built for a square screen
The Titan 2's 4.5 inch screen is square and the Elite's is nearly square. Launchers made for tall phones can look stretched or cramped.
Something for the keys to do
Shortcuts, commands or quick actions from the keyboard make the most of the phone you bought.
What typing on the Home Screen looks like
This is the thing most launchers miss on a keyboard phone. In Glass OS you just start typing: the app list narrows as you go, and Enter opens the top one. KISS and Prompt Launcher do the same in their own plainer way.
Glass OS
This one's mine, so it's top of the list on its own website.
A liquid glass home screen with the look of a new iPhone, made on a Titan 2 Elite. Typing on the Home Screen searches your apps, and a symbol at the start adds a to-do, note, event, message or call. Swipe right for the Hub, which puts every message in one list, and Notes, To-do and Events are built in.
See it on the Titan 2 and the Titan 2 Elite.
The stock Unihertz launcher
Clean and close to plain Android, with no bloat. The catch is the keyboard: in the app drawer you have to tap the search box before you can type, as Josh McConnell found in his Elite review. Owners on CrackBerry also say the stock grid can't be changed, so the icons stay small. Unihertz's letter key shortcuts work with it, and they live in Settings, not in the launcher.
KISS Launcher
Tiny and search first. When KISS spots a hardware keyboard it puts the cursor straight in the search box, so typing on the Home Screen just works. A Titan 2 Elite owner reported it losing focus after going back Home, and a fix was merged at the end of September 2026. It's plain to look at, which is the point.
Prompt Launcher
A keyboard first launcher built for the Titan 2 by an owner. You type on the Home Screen, with @ for a text, / for a call and : for an event, and there's optional Gemini AI. It's still in beta, so expect rough edges. It's on GitHub.
Niagara Launcher
A clean vertical list of your favourite apps with notifications shown beside them. It's actively developed and a favourite for keeping the phone calm, but it's built around touch rather than the keyboard, and the extras come with Niagara Pro.
There's a full comparison on the Niagara alternative page.
Lawnchair
Close to the Pixel launcher, and a popular way to fix the stock grid. There's an option to open the keyboard with the app drawer, and Enter opens the first result. It's still in beta: Lawnchair 15 Beta 3 came out in April 2026.
Nova Launcher
Nova was the usual fix for the Titan's small icons, but things have changed. Development stopped when its founder left in September 2025, and new owners took over in January 2026 and added ads to the free version. It still works, but it's no longer the safe pick it was.

What £4.99 gets you that the free ones don't
↗ Every message in one Hub
WhatsApp, texts, email and calls in one list with tabs and replies on the keys. None of the others here have one.
↗ Three apps built in
Notes, To-do and Events in the same glass style, added to straight from the Home Screen. The others leave you to find separate apps.
↗ A keyboard that does things
Not just search: a to-do, a note, an event, a message, a call, a timer or an alarm, each in one line.
↗ The look, and nothing watching
Real liquid glass and a clock with depth, with no ads, no account and no tracking. Paid once, so there's no reason for there to be.
What about the BlackBerry Launcher?
It was pulled from Google Play in June 2022 when BlackBerry ended its Android apps, and the last version is from 2019. You'll only find it on APK mirrors now, which isn't worth the risk. If it's the Hub you miss, see the BlackBerry Hub alternative.
Updated 5 October 2026. Glass OS is made by illuminati Apps; the other launchers are by their own developers.
Best Titan 2 launchers: questions
Which launcher suits the Titan 2 Elite best?
If you want to type on the Home Screen, pick one that supports the keyboard: Glass OS, KISS or Prompt Launcher. Niagara and Lawnchair are good too, but they're built around touch.
How do I change the launcher on a Titan 2?
Install the new launcher, press Home and pick it, or go to Settings, Apps, Default apps, Home app and choose it there.
Is Nova Launcher still good in 2026?
It still works, but development stopped in 2025 and the new owners added ads to the free version in 2026. There are better looked after options now, like Lawnchair or Niagara.
Can I get the BlackBerry Launcher on the Titan 2?
Only from APK mirror sites, as BlackBerry removed it from Google Play in 2022. It's old and unsupported, so it's not recommended.
